Who we are.
VEXANITY is a technology company. We make the systems that organisations run on, and in time the machines they depend on.
We build software that keeps a business or a school running, and we build things to order when what you need does not exist yet.
That is the whole company. Four things, listed on the front page, and nothing hidden behind a sales call.
We started with software because it is what people need now. Not in five years. A shop owner losing money this month cannot wait for us to grow up first.
We would rather make a small number of things properly and keep them working for twenty years than make many things badly.
Systems people depend on
Software today, hardware later. The rule is the same either way. If someone is going to rely on it, it has to hold.
For the phone in the hand
Not for a desk, not for an office, not for someone who has time to learn software. For someone standing up, working, with a customer waiting.
For the real conditions
Thin networks, interrupted power, a counter with a queue at it. Everything we make is engineered to hold in conditions that are never ideal.
Why we do this
Most things are not lost loudly.
A business rarely fails in one moment. It fails quietly.
A little goes unrecorded here. A little walks out there. A price is given that should not have been. Stock spoils before anyone notices. None of it feels like anything on the day it happens.
Then a year is gone. The owner worked every single day of it, and still cannot say where the money went. That is not a failure of effort. It is a failure of being able to see.
We build so that nothing important happens where you cannot see it.
That is the same reason we will eventually build more than software. Anything a person relies on should be built to hold when it matters. That standard does not change with the product.
